From provisions to fine dining over one-hundred years, the Mariscotti family has served generations of Maderans, and countless travelers motoring our valley’s iconic HWY 99. The Vineyard Restaurant’s current proprietor Chris Mariscotti has co-led Slow Food Madera’s efforts to promote local food culture hereabouts. Agricultural Madera’s demographic largely hails from 20th century Lucca, Italy and 21st century Oaxaca, Mexico immigrant populations.
